When Costa Coffee, Subway and the RFU (Rugby Football Union) agreed to work with O2 Wifi to put hotspots in their outlets, they needed a way of getting their franchisees to sign up to O2.
We were asked to create a series of microsites to allow the respective franchisees to sign up. Each site had a demo plus an area for data capture. The O2 Wifi team would then get automatically notified when a franchisee signed up to the service.
The sites were very successful and on the back of them we developed one for the RFU. This would allow their members to sign up for O2 Wifi in their clubs. In addition to the site we also created a wifi kit, so each club would receive beer mats, drip mats, posters and stickers to promote the service within their club.
